Our little baby is growing!

We are six weeks along and still in shock! Our baby’s heart actually started beating! We are anxious for February to hear that little heart!  Little eyes, arms, and legs are starting to form! He or she is about the size of a lentil. Although small the baby (or babies) keep me up most of the night going to the bathroom or tossing and turning to get comfy (it’s hard to get comfy these days!)

Grow little lentil Grow!!! :)

Stay Positive and baby dust to everyone!!

what a fetus looks like at six weeks!...hard to believe we all have looked like this!

  1. Exciting for you. Hopefully you get some good sleep soon. Sticky bean to you and baby dust.

    Do you hope for twins?

  2. We hope for a healthy baby of course but yes twins would be a dream come true and we were very happy to get the "twins" speech when we dropped those two nice eggs in December. It would be nice because we wanted two and this way we would not have to go through more IUI's to have a second child we would be all done!! So in away yes we are keeping our fingers and toes crossed for two little beans!!

  3. Good luck on twins.

My life I've had the twin twinge about having kids. It was the excuse I gave to my ex about making sure we were READY before having kids. On my wedding day to my wife, my cousin, not blood related, (who had twins first off) wished me and Deb Twins on our first pregnancy.

Twins would be interesting, but scary for me.

Good luck on two sticky healthy beans.

  4. I do get scared thinking of having twins as it would be a lot of work but then I think there is two of us and it puts my mind at ease! You never know..you guys could end up with two little beans, sounds like your cousin cast a spell on you two! lol! I know the chances are slim for us to have twins but the chances were also slim that we would conceive! I guess I'm going with the "anything is possible" mind set! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

  5. Hi C&T! I just came across your blog while visiting One Baby, Two Moms and wanted to stop in to say hello and congratulations on your little lentil bean! My wife gave birth to our first, a little girl in March of last year. While it's already been 11 months since we first became moms, I feel we were just where you are now. You both are in for the adventure of a lifetime.

I look forward to following. :)
