It is so hard to believe that our D-Day is only 3 days away! This pregnancy has just flown bye us! Our hospital bag is packed, the car seat is in the car and we are all set at home for a new little bean! I'm nervous and excited all bundled in to one big ball! No signs that the little guy is on his way, other then feeling tired. We are hoping he arrives this weekend! We will post pictures as soon as we can! Things with the move have gone very well so far :)
I Hope Everyone in blogland has a great weekend!
It's good to hear your move has gone well. Being so close to DD would make things more stressful.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the little one.
Hi there,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Andrea Hunter. I’m an Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism at Concordia University in Montreal.
First – congratulations on new soon-to-be-born baby! Or maybe the big day has come?!
I wanted to get in touch with you because I’m doing a study into how lesbian and queer parents are using blogs to write about their experiences as parents. I’d like to see if you’d be interested in participating in this research. If you could send me an email address, I’d love to send you more information about what my research entails – essentially it would mean participating in an interview that would last about half an hour.
I know you have your hands very full right now! But in case new baby decides to stay in utero for a while or perhaps after things calm down after the baby arrives, I thought I would send you a message to see if you will be part of this research.
Very quickly, although I’m not a blogger myself, as a lesbian with a four year old conceived through an anonymous donor I’m very interested in queer parenting and the journey it takes to get pregnant.
Here is a link to my page at the university (it needs to be updated to reflect my current research, which I have just started) so that you know I am who I say I am:

If you send me an email, I can send you a lot more information about this research and also a list of questions I’d like to ask. I hope to hear from you.
Thanks for your time and your blog.
Best,
Andrea
